Born and raised in Los Angeles, I never imagined living outside my hometown. But when my college mentor encouraged me to study abroad, I said yes—and found myself in Istanbul, Turkey for six months. That first step across borders opened my eyes not only to the world and its possibilities but also to the boundless ways God reveals Himself through places, people, and adventures.
Now, after traveling to 46 countries, I can say this with confidence: we never journey alone. God goes before us, guiding, protecting, and surprising us with beauty along the way (Joshua 1:9).
