A COLLECTION: For the Girl Who's

Whispers: Be Still and know He is God

Often the times when it’s hardest for you to make time for God are the times we need Him the most.

Because the more chaos you have going- the easier it is for the enemy to come rattle you.

However, when you choose to honor God by putting Him first- it doesn’t matter if you’re drowning in circumstances, having a ‘Murphy’s Law’ day or week, if you’re feeling tempted by the flesh/past strongholds, etc.. His Spirit will fill you with a divine peace, comfort, and confidence to get you through it. As long as we do our part and keep our soul nourished in His truth, we need not worry so much about what life throws at us or where we go..

So if you’re feeling like you’re drowning..

  1. Bring it back to the core:

“And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul” Deutoronomy 10:12

This is all He wants of us, the rest He has already taken care of.

2. When you can’t think of words to say to Him, meditate on words He’s said to YOU:

He has already made a way for you Deutoronomy 31:8

He will never leave you or forsake you Hebrews 13:5

He will never let you be put to shame Romans 10:11

He will never let you be tempted beyond what you can handle  1 Corinthians 10:13

He will never go back on His promises for you, and He is not a God to forget Psalm 89:34
